Bethan Passes First CII Professional Exam!

In amongst all the current gloom, our little ‘dream team’ keep managing to come up with something to be cheerful about.

Beth joined us in 2020 after a career in the NHS. It was quickly apparent to us that her analytical skills and fastidious attention to detail made her a perfect addition to the T&T team and I know that many of our clients have now met or spoken to Beth.

Katy and I recruited Beth to take on much of the administration duties that are so important to our frontline financial planning. However, Beth soon started to show an aptitude for the actual financial planning itself and so we enrolled her on the R05 exam course from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

R05 is the ‘Protection’ diploma module. It focuses on the rules, taxation and regulations that surround areas such as life cover, income protection, life assurance bonds, risk and much more.

Beth has spent the past months studying hard. We have provided her with one study day per week, but she has also put in a huge amount of work on her own time.  Beth has also benefited from extra tuition and help from Holly which really made a difference.

After sitting the online supervised exam last week, Beth received her results and a pass with 92% was not a bad result!

We have now ordered another CII diploma module for Beth and she will continue on her path towards Level Four Financial Planning standard.

Very well done Beth – we are all really proud of you.
