A huge Congratulations to Emma who successfully passed her R04 Pensions examination by the Chartered Insurance Institute today!
This was actually the fifth diploma exam that Emma had to sit and pass in order to build towards fully qualified financial planner status. Emma has been on nothing short of a mission to pass these incredibly complex exams since she started her financial planner journey at Thomas and Thomas only 13 months ago.
The R04 Pensions paper is particularly testing and seeks to examine candidates on their knowledge of both personal and occupational pensions including the various regulations, taxation and legislation surrounding them. Time is of the essence in this paper as formulas have to be calculated and multiple answers considered.
None of this fazed our Llanybydder exam monster!
Emma now moves on to the sixth and final hurdle in the CII financial planner diploma, she will be studying for a three hour written paper which brings together all of the knowledge that she has built up into simulated client case studies.
We are all absolutely delighted for Emma as she celebrates her remarkable achievement and moves ever closer to her goal of becoming a professional financial planner. Well done Emma.
