It is with great pleasure we can share the news with all of our clients that our latest team addition – Emma Jones – has successfully passed her RO2 Investment Principles and Risk Paper.
The two hour exam took place today in Gloucester. The paper tested Emma’s knowledge in Markets, Asset Classes, Investment Types, Investment Taxation, Regulation, Implementation and Management.
We were quite surprised when Emma asked to tackle the first of her six financial planning diploma modules so early on in her career. The past month has just been a whirlwind of technical sessions, reading, mock exams and ‘history lessons with Darren’. The effort that Emma has put into this first exam truly matches her confidence.
Emma called us from the exam centre upon receiving her result. She is ‘extremely happy and buzzing!’ after receiving her pass. She also expressed her gratitude to Katy and Darren for their support and encouragement throughout the training.
The first time fail rate on these tough CII exams is high and we are so proud of Emma that she represented Thomas and Thomas so admirably.
Emma will now move on to study for her next diploma module over the coming months, but not until she has enjoyed a much deserved glass of wine!
