Many congratulations to our trainee financial planner Emma who has successfully passed her R05 Financial Protection Examination from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) today.
In October, Emma passed the first of the core six diploma qualifications, we really didn’t expect another pass before the end of 2017 – but then Emma is on a mission!
The Financial Protection exam tests the candidates’ knowledge of the insurance market and uses of life cover, income protection and critical illness protection within an individuals’ financial plan. It is a tough exam as it demands complete tax calculations of various policy scenarios and catches out those who have not fully studied the history of insurance products and savings.
Emma is now immediately moving on to the R03 Personal Taxation paper which she hopes to sit in the spring. This has been a great start for our latest team member, well done Emma – we are very proud of you! Now go and have some Christmas cake and a rest!
