On July the 9th this year, we shall be hosting our annual ‘Investors Masterclass’ at our Avallenau House Offices. The event is now in its 6th year and has always gone down a storm with our clients. So much so that we are filling up earlier every year!
The event runs from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and is a whirlwind of cakes, coffee, bite size presentations and …. more food! It is completely free to attend as a Thomas and Thomas client and we now only have a handful of our 20 spaces left.
This time we shall be welcoming Sarasin Investments who will be sharing their house view on the Global outlook for markets and economies. They will also be telling us more about their Food & Agricultural fund which many of our clients currently hold within their portfolios.
Darren will be doing a ‘ten minute tax speed session’! as well as demonstrations on Pension withdrawals and income from Bonds using chocolate and a large drinks dispenser – why would you want to miss this?!
We are excited to welcome Rebecca Laugharne who is a very well respected Trusts and Estates Lawyer from Douglas-Jones Mercers Legal Team. Rebecca has been at our offices, meeting many of our clients over the past year and she will be running a short session on Inheritance Tax, Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Long Term Care, as well as taking any questions from the floor.
Lisa will be joined by our wonderful accountant Pete and myself on the hospitality side. Our aim will be to feed you to bursting point!
I will also be updating our clients on recent survey feedback, changes to platforms and our plans for Thomas and Thomas in the coming year.
