My huge thanks to all who have so kindly sponsored me to run the Atlantic Coastal Challenge in October. The training is nearly at an end now as I try and heal damaged parts in readiness for what is to come!
From our clients’ investment into pharmaceutical companies over the years, we know that there are many exciting developments within the world of immunology that could use patients’ natural immune systems to turn on cancer cells. Mankind is agonisingly close to finding a cure…..
In case you missed it, we actually made a video to tell you all about the challenge that I will be undertaking to help raise much needed funds for Cancer Research UK.
Here is the link to the video which is just a couple of minutes long but sums up why on earth I am putting myself through this!
If you would like to sponsor me, please go to my Just Giving page to help
Or send in a cheque to us for ‘Cancer Research UK’
I am going to try and send a short communication each night after I have hopefully completed each leg of the challenge. If you would like to be on my email list for this – please let me know.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Lisa for looking after me so admirably throughout all of the training. For keeping an endless supply of various pills, potions, patience, love and encouragement coming! I also want to thank my cousin Andrew (an experienced ultra-event cyclist) for agreeing to be my support crew throughout the three days. His knowledge, experience and encouragement will be invaluable.
With much thanks and appreciation for all of your encouragement and support. Your emails and letters have been stored in my mind and will be recalled at any hard points on this challenge! Kindest regards.
