Please join us for our Thomas and Thomas Beach Clean

I think you’ll agree that Pembrokeshire’s Beaches are gorgeous – but unfortunately plastic litter is becoming a far too familiar sight along our coastline.

Plastic litter can originate from various places such as being dropped locally – either intentionally or accidentally – but most of it is brought in by high tides after travelling many miles before hitting our beaches. This is most apparent after a storm.

We thought it would be rewarding to go and clean up a beach as part of our commitment to Ethical Investing. If you would like to volunteer your time and help clean up our beaches, Thomas and Thomas are organising a beach clean at Newgale beach on Tuesday 14^th May 2019.

We will be meeting in the beach carpark at 10am and will spend around two hours collecting. This is a very casual meet-up so you can join us or leave whenever you like.

What to bring:

• Wear suitable clothing and footwear – wrap up warm as the wind on the beach can make it chilly.
• Don’t forget to bring your own reusable bottle of water. We will provide refills.
• Bring strong gloves – like gardening gloves. If you don’t have gardening gloves please bring your own pair of marigolds.
• We will provide bin bags, sweets, drinks and good company!

We really hope that you can join us, if you are able to let us know in advance that would be superb – otherwise please feel free to just turn up.
