We are delighted to report that Tel successfully passed her CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) Professional Assessment in ESG and Sustainable Investment Advice yesterday afternoon!
This is a new Professional Assessment launched by the CII to help build Financial Advisers knowledge around investing Ethically and Sustainably for their Clients.
It ran across five foundation modules which included detailed information about EU, UK and Global Legislation impacting upon sustainable investment, designing sustainable portfolios, disclosure requirements, labelling and regulation amongst other things.
Our clients will know that we have a passion for investing Ethically and Sustainably for our clients. We have been pioneers in this space for well over a decade now. Therefore, it seemed appropriate that this was one of Tel’s first areas to study – given our experience in this arena.
Tel now moves on to a regulated professional exam module over the coming months and we wish her all the very best with it.
Our view at Thomas and Thomas is that we are only as good as the latest up to date information and knowledge. Having young, dynamic team members certainly helps us in maintaining our edge.
