Thomas and Thomas crowned Citywire’s ‘New Model Adviser’ Firm of the Year 2025.
Every year, firms from all around the UK enter the annual ‘New Model Adviser’ publication Awards run by Citywire. The initial process whittles these entries down to the Top 100 Financial Planning firms in the UK. These Top 100 are then cut to finalists for each region.
On Thursday night – Bethan, Teleri and myself made our way to the finals where we were very proud to have been shortlisted for the Wales region. The Awards were announced and presented by the Citywire Editors and Paul Sinha from ‘The Chase’.
It has been a couple of years since we last won this highly competitive award which celebrates firms who have the highest levels of qualifications, recurring income, innovation and team development alongside profitability and sustainability as a business.
We waited nervously as the various regions were announced…….why do they always make Wales last!!
Finally, they reached our category and we were announced as this years’ Wales winners! There was much celebrating as we took to the stage to be interviewed and presented with our award. A truly epic achievement for a small practice in Haverfordwest – up against far bigger city based firms.
I thanked both Bethan and Teleri on stage for their remarkable commitment and contribution to our teams’ success. I also want to sincerely thank our wonderful clients for all of your help and encouragement. We just wouldn’t be the happy and dynamic firm that we are today without all of you.
